Bridge2Aid supporters complete London 10k, May 2013 – 31st May 2013

3On Monday, 27th June a group of supporters – including the Cookie Monster himself! – completed the London 10k in the glorious sunshine, raising money for Bridge2Aid.

Our thanks go to all of the team for supporting our work in East Africa. An extra special thanks go to the two members in fancy dress!

A great achievement for the runners and a lot of money raised for our training programmes in the process. We’ve now trained over 240 local healthcare workers in emergency dental care and have therefore created access to emergency dentistry to an estimated 2.4million people – but there’s still a long way to go.

The team: Sarah Pearson, Eleanor Dudman, Sam Duggin (Cookie Monster), Corwin Hine (Toothbrush), Kerry Dutton, Rose Pritchett, Mark Franks, Gavin Dutton.
Not in photograph: Julie Adams, Shelley Eason, Sara Stoneham, Julie Duggin.

3-1If you’d like to take part in an event whilst raising money for Bridge2Aid, or perhaps you’re interested in hosting your own fundraising event, then please don’t hesitate to contact our Fundraising Coordinator Kerry: kerry@bridge2aid.org. She’d be delighted to hear from you.
