  • Paul Tasman

    Paul joined our team in 2015, he has a wealth of experience in the third sector and in managing small and medium-sized organisations.  He works closely with the board of Trustees to develop and implement our strategy.  Paul has developed close working relationships with our key colleagues working in healthcare East Africa and ensures that the training we carry out is led by the needs that they identify as priorities

    Programme Manager

    Andrew joined us in August 2022 as a Programme Manager and will work closely with our partners in East Africa to develop and deliver Oral Health training projects across the region. Andrew has been managing projects in Global Health for the past 5 years with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, working on research into diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis.
  • Keith Du-Rose

    Financial Controller (part-time)Keith Du Rose

    Financial Controller Keith joined the team in May 2019. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989. He has worked in both practice and industry as an accountant for nearly 30 years. He also has over 20 years working in various roles in local charities outside of his working life.

  • Annie Barrow

    Media Wizard (part-time)  Annie Barrow

    Annie has been volunteering on our conference and trade show stands for over a decade and joined the team ‘properly’ in 2019. She has been involved in dentistry since 1986 and prior to discovering a love of all things digital and tech enjoyed a very happy career as a Dental Hygienist. Annie takes care of our social channels and digital communications.

  • Dr Nila Jackson SibabaDr Nila Jackson

    Nila is our key implementation partner in Tanzania.  He is a dentist and has worked as Regional Dental Officer for Mara, and is a member of the Tanzania Dental Association.

  • Dr Aran Maxwell-Cox

    Clinical Education Lead (part – time)

    Aran qualified in 2014 from the University of Dundee as a dentist and has been working in clinical practice ever since. Aran has always had an interest in Clinical Education and has worked as an Educational Supervisor with NHS England and has had an active role within Oral Health Promotion for {my)dentist. Aran will be helping to develop our international training programmes.

  • Dr Martha Chipanda

    Dr Martha Chipanda is our key partner in Malawi and acts as our co-ordinator facilitating training of Dental Therapists and developing our network of Oral Health Promoters. Martha is National Oral Health Coordinator for Malawi Ministry of Health;

    Lecturer at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences; and Head of Dental Department, Mzuzu Central Hospital.

  • Dr Wiston B Mukiwa

    Current Secretary of Dental Associate of Malawi, Wiston is a practicing dentist who is our ambassador and partner in the country. He has held the role of Principal of the Malawi College of Health Sciences, and was Secretary for Health and Population in Malawi where he was responsible for tackling a legion of health issues, including managing the impact of the HIV-Aids pandemic.

    Lecturer at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences; and Head of Dental Department, Mzuzu Central Hospital.
