The offer

To celebrate our 15th year Bridge2Aid has created an offer for 15 top class practices and suppliers in the UK.  We’re offering you a way to help 10,000 people out of dental pain – and the chance to see the change with your own eyes.

In Tanzania there are just over 100 dentists for a population of 58 million people.  So most people don’t ever see a dentist and can suffer years of pain and face life threatening infections. Bridge2Aid provides emergency dental training to rural health workers. Using volunteer UK dentists as trainers we teach the health workers how to get their communities out of pain and out of danger.

We’d like your business to support this work for a year and help train one of the health workers.  It’s an amazing opportunity to be able to share stories and get your staff and patients really involved.  Because you appreciate how vital skills and training are you’ll understand that sharing skills is an incredibly effective way to change lives. And it’s long term – we leave a legacy.

The package

Each practice that signs up will commit to paying £5,000 (tax deductible) towards the work of Bridge2Aid for 12 months.  The donation can be payable in instalments if requested.

Included in the package is:

– A contribution towards the training of a Bridge2Aid rural health worker.  We’ll assign a trainee to your practice and share the story of their training with you, your staff and your patients/customers.  There will be pictures, news and videos to share, and stories of the patients that your trainee meets during their training in rural Tanzania.  After training we’ll present the practice with a framed picture and details of the health worker to hang in your practice.

The trainee will be assigned in the training programme nearest to when you sign up and details sent soon after (programmes this year are in May, June, August, September, October and November).

– A monthly video for 12 month to share with your team and customers on social media, website and/or practice TV.

– A special supporter trip for the practice owner (or selected team member) to see the work for themselves and report back to the team.  The trip would be an exclusive visit with other members of the Premium Practice Partnership.  The trip will be the culmination of the partnership.  After your staff and customers have seen all aspects of the work and training through the year this will be the time to see work in real life and share the amazing story with those back home.  There would be a choice of two trips to sign up to – one in the last week of April 2020 or another in the last week of June 2020 – further details below.

– Regular Bridge2Aid newsletters to share with staff

– A Premium Practice Partner Plaque to display

The trip

We will organise two trips to correspond with two of our training programmes.  You can sign up to one of these.  The dates of the trips will be:

APRIL 2020

Leaving UK on Saturday 25th April and returning back in the UK on Friday 1st May.

JUNE 2020

Leaving UK on Saturday 27th June and returning back in the UK on Friday 3rd July.

The trip will centre on travelling out into rural Tanzania and seeing a Bridge2Aid training programme.  We’ll also see a bit of Tanzanian culture.  Tanzania is a very safe country and Bridge2Aid are experts at taking care of visitors to the country.  It will be an incredible experience.  Flights (economy), hotels, food and transport included in the package.  For those who wish to there is the option to extend your visit if you wanted to spend a day or two on safari after the Bridge2Aid trip.
