Bridge2Aid Peak to Plains – Safari Cycle 2026

31st January to 7th February 2026, Tanzania

Join Chris Barrow and Colin Campbell as they cycle 330km from Kilimanjaro to the Ngorongoro Crater!

Wild animals, open savannah, the Maasai, and the Ngorongoro crater. This exciting and truly memorable ride covers over 330km across Tanzania’s vast savannah from the foot of Kilimanjaro, to the world’s largest unbroken caldera, the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater. Electric bikes are available.

  • Cycle over 330km across the varied terrain of the African savannah.
  • Ride through wildlife-rich natural migratory corridors.
  • Cycle up the spectacular Great Rift Valley escarpment.
  • Includes a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
  • Beautiful lodged and fixed tent accommodation; no hard camping!

If the starting and end points of this Kilimanjaro Ngorongoro Bike Ride sound like the highlights, wait until you see what’s in between! Riding through Maasai villages and through the Great Rift Valley, you’ll enjoy the ever-present sights of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. You make your way to the shores of Lake Manyara and onto the World Heritage landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The days will be hot and challenging, while evenings will be spent in either lodge, hotels, or tented lodges. There is no ‘hard camping’ on the floor!

To finish this off, there is a game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater to see the plethora of wild animals that naturally live there. A great ending.
