Corporate Friends

Our Corporate Friends are companies who have been, and who are, significant donors or contributors to Bridge2Aid and commit to an annual charter commitment to Bridge2Aid.

All our Corporate Friends are committed to:

  • raising funds
  • providing access to manpower, expertise or other resources
  • direct financial sponsorship
  • raising awareness of our work and aims

    A-dec UK

    The team at A-dec UK have been supporters of Bridge2Aid for many years. As well as donating the surgery equipment for HDC, and donating dental materials, A-dec has sent engineers to Mwanza to service the equipment.

    Members of staff have been involved in employee fundraising, event sponsorship, the use of their venue for meetings as well as hosting us on their stands at various dental shows and conferences throughout the year.

    Henry Schein Dental

    Henry Schein Dental have been supporters of Bridge2Aid for many years.

    The team have donated dental materials and have been involved in both event and employee fundraising, They have sent a team out to Tanzania, and help organise our annual BASH!

    They help manage and sponsor our Dental Student Elective Programme.

    Practice Plan

    Practice Plan have been involved in a number of events and employee fundraising challenges.

    Member of staff spent time in Tanzania as a renovation team, helping our own CSR project at Bukumbi Care Centre, and are involved in organising and promoting our annual Bash.

    They also run a new patient sign-up scheme in aid of Bridge2Aid.

    Dentsply

    As well as donating stock and taking part in many fundraising events over the past 7 years, Dentsply also help with organising the annual BASH! – a social and fundraising event held on the Friday night of the BDTA Showcase each year.

    Dentistry

    Dentistry Magazine has supported us with free advertising since 2006.

    Their support has enabled us to profile our fundraising events and volunteering opportunities successfully and subsequently raise hundreds of thousands of pounds.

    In addition, editorial support assists us in getting our message across.

    Dentisan

    Dentisan joined Bridge2Aid as a Corporate Friend during 2014, after having supported us in an advisory role for a number of years. A donation of £5000 towards our latest dental training programmes was generously given earlier this year.

    Commercial Director at Dentisan, Bob Newsome, commented: “Dentisan is proud to support the incredible work that Bridge2Aid are doing in East Africa. Becoming a Corporate Friend further strengthens our relationship with the charity and allows us to deepen our involvement in the work that they do to help those currently the facing the toughest of life circumstances”.

    Dental Design is proud to support Bridge2Aid, both commercially and through charity events and fundraising.

    During 2013, Dental Design supported Bridge2Aid by building and hosting this new website, providing online support and helping us spread our key messages to their own clients.

    The founders and management team at 7connections are long-term friends of Bridge2Aid and their support has included:-

    – strategic coaching for the leadership team in Tanzania
    – team training at Hope Dental Centre in Mwanza
    – running the London Marathon
    – taking part in the 2011 ascent of Kilimanjaro
    – introducing a number of Unity Partners from within their own client base
