Who we are » Meet the Team
There are many people who help to support the work of Bridge2Aid, both in the UK and Tanzania. Whether directly involved in the programmes themselves or working at Hope Dental Centre (HDC), they are all vital to deliver the dental training programmes and change lives in East Africa.
Haji Mbaraka
Joins the Dental Team as a Dental Programmes Administrator. He will be working with Government officials to organise DVPs and will also work with the teams when they do the training in Tanzania. He is a great asset to the team.

Lord McColl became our patron in February 2011 after visiting Tanzania to view the DVP and our work at Bukumbi.
Bridge2 Aid is doing an amazing work by greatly increasing access to pain relief which is vital in the developing world where so many people are suffering from untreated dental disease.
By training local personnel to provide emergency pain relief, Bridge2Aid are providing a way out of excruciating agony and suffering for people living in already tough conditions. The focus on empowerment and sustainability, as well as the professionalism and dedication of the team are commendable marks of the organisation.
I am proud to be Patron of an organisation committed to relieving suffering in such a simple, innovative and sustainable way.
UK Trustees
Alan Frampton (Chair), Dr Katherine Opie-Smith, Andie Wilson, Caroline Havers and Dr Simon Roland
The Trustees keep everything legal and above board in the UK. They are also a very wise group, providing advice and practical help with various aspects of the organisation. They are both supportive and challenging and keep us all on our toes!
